BIRD FLU # WAY FORWARD.
The avian influenza virus still affecting poultry and causing severe economic losses,thus a seminar was organized for farmers to highlight ways to stop the virus,,and what to do in case of an outbreak.

The importance of foot dip,tyre dips and hand washing was emphasized while the sharing of tools,implements was discouraged as this is a possible infection route. The importance of early reporting was also emphasized as this is the key factor to compensation.
